Chankwakwa story told in Buenos Aires

Back in October 2013 Chankwakwa founder Dorothy Eriksson spoke at the Zambia National Farmers Union’s (ZNFU) annual congress in Lusaka. She was given an opportunity to speak directly to women from rural Zambia and gave a highly motivational speech that was appreciated by all. Present at that time was also representatives from World farmers Organization (WFO) headquarters. Even they liked what they heard and so Dorothy Eriksson was later contacted by them when they handed over an invitation to her as a guest speaker at the WFO 2014 general assembly! Soon tickets got sent and it all came into reality, Dorothy Eriksson – Chankwakwa was on the way to South America! It was on Monday, day one of the congress she spoke about her work with mango outgrowers in rural Zambia and the long road towards organic and fairtrade certification. She had great response and lots of questions followed.
